Cubase Pro 16 Upgrade from Pro 12-14

The Steinberg Cubase Pro 16 UD from Pro 12-14 is the official update that moves an existing Cubase Pro 12, 13, or 14 license to the new Pro 16 generation. Delivered as a download with a perpetual license, it gives current Pro owners every new feature added in the latest release without buying a full version.

What's New in Pro 16

Cubase Pro 16 adds advanced surround mixing, deeper scoring tools, and tighter integration with professional studio hardware. The upgrade also brings the latest plug-in set and workflow refinements ready to use on existing projects, with project files and settings carrying straight over from the previous Pro version.

Who This Upgrade Is For

This upgrade suits producers, composers, and engineers already running Cubase Pro 12, 13, or 14 who want the newest tools at a lower price than a full license. Pro 16 needs macOS 15 or later, or Windows 10 or later, with 16 GB of RAM, 89 GB of free disk space, and a supported processor such as Intel Core i5, AMD Ryzen, or Apple Silicon.
